Rajinikanth Invited To Attend Ayodhya Ram Temple Consecration Ceremony

Chennai: BJP leader Arjunamurthy, representing the Ayodhya, Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, has extended an invitation to megastar Rajinikanth for the ‘Ayodhya Kumbabhishek’ event scheduled for January 22. Sharing the news on social media, Arjunamurthy expressed his joy at personally inviting Rajinikanth and his family to the ceremony alongside RSS officials.

The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has set January 22 as the date to enthrone Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple’s sanctum-sanctorum. Ayodhya, the revered birthplace of Lord Rama, holds profound spiritual, historical, and cultural significance for India.

Invitations have been extended to other notable personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, and directors Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rohit Shetty, and producer Mahaveer Jain. South Indian celebrities such as Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Dhanush, and Rishab Shetty will also grace the event.

Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Acharya Satyendra Das, welcomed the participation of artists in the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, highlighting the attendance of PM Modi. The trust has invited 4,000 saints from various sects for the event, with PM Modi scheduled to attend the inauguration of the Ram Temple.

Vedic rituals for the consecration ceremony will commence on January 16, a week before the main ceremony on January 22. The ceremony will be conducted by Vedic priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi. Ayodhya will observe the Amrit Mahautsav from January 14 to January 22.

To accommodate the expected influx of devotees, several tent cities are being set up in Ayodhya, with arrangements made for 10,000-15,000 people, as per the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust. Local authorities are enhancing security measures and logistical arrangements for a seamless and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees during the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
