Rashtrapati Bhavan’s ‘Mughal Garden’ Renamed As ‘Amrit Udyan’

New Delhi: The Mughal Garden located in the Rashtrapati Bhavan has been renamed as ‘Amrit Udyan’. The garden has been renamed under Amrit Mahotsav. Amrit Udyan (Mughal Garden) has 12 varieties of tulips. Now the garden is also going to open for the common people like every year, where people will be able to see tulips and roses.

Every year Amrit Udyan is open to the general public, this year it will open on March 31 and will remain open for two months till May 26. The opening time of the garden will be from 10 am to 4 pm. It will open on March 28 for farmers, on March 29 for the disabled, and on March 30 for the Police and Army.

Tickets will be available for 7500 people from 10 am to 12 noon. After that 10 thousand people will get entry from 12 to 4 pm. It will be like Udyan Bhavan in Rashtrapati Bhavan. 12 species of tulip flowers have been planted in the garden. There are also selfie points in the garden. The food court will also be operational. People will be able to get information about varieties of plants from QR codes installed near the plants. Further, there are 120 types of roses and 40 scented roses.
