Seven Burnt Alive, 27 Injured in Fire Accident at Industry in Gujarat’s Surat  

Surat: Charred bodies of seven workers were recovered on Thursday from the fire accident site of Aether Industries in Gujarat’s Surat. Twenty-seven other persons were injured in this fire accident.

According to police sources, this fire accident occurred on Wednesday after which seven workers were reported missing. Their bodies were found on Thursday.

It is suspected that an explosion in a chemical storage tank caused the fire. An investigation is on to ascertain the actual cause of the fire.

Aether Industries is owned by Ashwin Desai, a top industrialist in Gujarat with an estimated wealth of 1.3 million dollars.
