Shraddha Murder Shadow: Woman’s Body Parts Found In A Drum In Andhra

Visakhapatnam: Since Aaftab Amin Poonawala’s heinous crime surfaced, several similar cases have been reported from across the country.

In a recent incident, a woman’s decomposed body parts were found inside a drum kept inside a locked rented house in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam.

The police suspect the body has been there for over a year.

Police said that the owner of the house broke open the door of the house since the tenant hadn’t paid the rent, and found the woman’s body parts.

“Prima facie suggests that this is a year-old case. According to the house owner, the tenant vacated the house in June 2021 without paying the dues. After waiting for a year, the owner today forcefully entered the house to clear the belongings of the tenant when in a drum body parts of a woman has been recovered,” a police official said.

“We’re suspecting that it could be his wife. The (house) owner has given a complaint, based on which a case has been registered. further investigations are underway,” the officer added.
