12 Killed & 13 Injured in Gas Cylinder Blast in Pakistan

At least 12 persons died and 13 others were injured when a massive explosion occurred at a market in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on Tuesday. This blast occurred during gas refilling at a shop on Monday night.

The inflammable gas caused a huge explosion and the fire spread fast to adjoining shops. Other LPG cylinders kept in the shop also exploded one after the other. Vehicles parked nearby were also gutted.

According to sources, around 25 people with burn injuries were shifted to the Civil Hospital in Karachi. Out of them, 12 succumbed to their injuries.

The explosion-triggered fire also engulfed other cylinders stored in the shop, leading to more blasts that destroyed neighbouring shops and around 12 vehicles parked nearby.
