6.5 Magnitudes Earthquake Hits Northern California; No Damage Reported

California: Despite an earthquake of 6.5 magnitudes struck off the coast of California, no damages or tsunami alerts were reported.

An earthquake of 6.5 magnitudes was felt in California earlier today.

The tremor hit 25 miles (40 kilometres) southwest of the port city of Eureka.

The depth of the earthquake was reported to be 60 km.
