2 Mysterious Deaths in Bhubaneswar; Student in Private Hostel, Woman at Baramunda Bus Stand

Bhubaneswar: Bodies of a woman and a medical student were found under mysterious conditions in two separate incidents in Bhubaneswar on Friday night.

The body of a student preparing for NEET entrance to get admitted to MBBS course was recovered from his hostel room at Patia area of Bhubaneswar. He was identified as Arnab Krishna from Dhanbad in Jharkhand who was taking coaching for NEET entrance and was staying in a private hostel in Patia. He was found hanging from the ceiling in his room. As per reports, the police found a plastic rope around his neck, and his feet were touching the ground. Bloodstains were also spotted near his feet.

Chandrasekharpur police seized the body and have initiated an investigation into the incident. The exact circumstances that led to his death are still unclear.

In the other incident, some passengers spotted the body of a woman at the Barmunda bus terminal and informed the police. Police seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. As per reports, the woman is suspected to be from Surada area of Ganjam district as she had booked a ticket to travel to Surada. It is said that a youngster was with her, who has vanished. The circumstances surrounding her death are still unclear.

The police are trying to identify the woman and find the youngster who was with her. Further investigation is underway to unravel the mystery behind her death.
