3 centres for Artificial Intelligence on Anvil to make AI work for India: FM

New Delhi: To realise the vision of Make AI in India and Make AI work for India, three Centres of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence will be set up in top educational institutions, said Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. She stressed upon the use of AI for the development of the country in the future.

Artificial Intelligence is the most advanced sphere of development in the field of digital technology. It is felt, AI can be used in all sectors of development in India.

“Leading industry players will partner in conducting inter-disciplinary research, develop cutting-edge applications and scalable problem solutions in the areas of agriculture, health and sustainable cities,” she said.
