3 CRPF Jawans Injured in Maoists’ IED Blast in Jharkhand

Ranchi: Three CRPF jawans involved in an anti-Maoist operation were by an IED blast triggered by Maoists in Jharkhand’s Chaibasa region on Thursday.

The injured jawans were airlifted to Ranchi by helicopter.

The CRPF personnel injured by the Maoists were identified as Rakesh Pathak, BD Anal, and Pankaj Yadav.

According to sources, the Maoists attacked the Goilkera station area of Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum.

Security personnel initiated a combing operation in the area after the incident.
