4 Dead After Boat Overturns in Koraput Dist

Koraput: Four persons drowned to death after a boat they were on, overturned near Podagada jetty under Semiliguda Police limits of Odisha’s Koraput district.

Four others were safely rescued from the river.

The boat with eight passengers on board was en route to Tentulipadar from Mukhigudai when the mishap occurred.

On being informed, Fire service personnel reached the spot and initiated a rescue operation. The personnel have also initiated a probe into the matter.
