4-Yr-Old Boy Who Fell In Vessel With Hot Kheer Dies Of Burns

Nuapada: A four-year-old boy who accidentally fell into a hot Kheer vessel in Ranimunda village under Khadial block of Odisha’s Nuapada district on Friday succumbed to his injuries on Monday while undergoing treatment.

The victim has been identified as the four-year-old son of Hutesh Kumar Herna of Ranimunda village.

According to reports, the child was playing nearby while a feast was being cooked in the village when he accidentally fell into the cauldron containing hot kheer.

He was initially rushed to the Khadiyal Mission Hospital. Later, he was shifted to Raipur District Headquarters Hospital as his condition deteriorated.

A pall of gloom descended on Ranimunda village today as the news of the child’s death spread.
