5 Youths Die in 2 Road Accidents on NH16 in Bhadrak & Jajpur Districts

Bhubaneswar: Five youths died in two separate road accidents in Bhadrak and Jajpur districts on Saturday.

Three youths died when their bike crashed into a truck on NH 16 at Kadei Chhak within Badachana police limits of Jajpur district. The deceased were identified as Abhisekh Sara (22) of Barabati village within Dharmasala police limits of Jajpur district, Anchal Sahu (26) of Chadheidhara village, and Debashish Nayak (26) of Baikunthapali village of Cuttack.

The deceased youths were going to Puri to visit the Shree Jagannath temple when they met with this tragic fate. Their bodies were seized by police for autopsy.

Two youths lost their lives in Bhadrak district when a car hit their bike on NH 16 while they were on their way to Dhenkanal from Jaleswar. The deceased were Biswajit Rout (20) and Sanu Swain (19) of Prabatia village in Dhenkanal. The accident occurred near Reliance Petrol Pump square on the highway.

Bodies of the deceased were taken to Bhadrak district headquarter hospital for post-mortem.
