7 Engineering Students Killed, 6 Injured in Accident in Assam

Guwahati: Seven students of Assam Engineering College died and six others were injured in a road accident in Guwahati on Monday. The car in which 10 third-year students of the engineering college were traveling hit a road divider and then collided with a pick-up van in Jalukbari area of the Guwahati, police sources said.

The accident occurred early on Monday morning. Seven students died on the spot, while three others were admitted to the collided with a pick-up van in Jalukbariin a serious condition. Three persons in the pick-up van including its driver were also injured and admitted to the hospital.
