Protest Over ‘Love Jihad’ In Bhubaneswar, Girl Alleges Religious Conversion Attempt In Khordha

Khordha: A 27-year-old girl recently brought allegations of brainwashing and religious conversion against a youth in Khordha district.

The accused has been identified as Alim Uddin Shah, a resident of Mukundaprasad under  Khordha model police station limits in the district.

In her FIR, the girl alleged that the accused allegedly developed a love relationship with her with a false identity forced her to convert to Islam, kept physical relations with her and threatened to make her obscene video viral.

On the basis of the complaint of the girl, the accused has been arrested by the police.

Meanwhile, a group of youths on Sunday held a demonstration in Bhubaneswar in protest against the alleged ‘love jihad’.
