7-Yr-Old Girl Killed, 5 Injured as Autorickshaw Overturns in Koraput’s Jeypore

Koraput: A seven-year-old girl died and five others were seriously injured when the auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling overturned on Saturday evening near Paper Mill square in Jeypore town.

The deceased minor was identified as S Durga, daughter of J Durga from Hanaguda area.

The accident occurred while the members of a family were returning to their home from Dambuguda village of Kanga after attending the funeral rites of a relative.

Following the accident, the driver of the autorickshaw escaped from the spot. The injured were rescued by some locals and were admitted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Jeypore town.
