Army Jawans Rape 2 Women in Jhansi; Two Arrested, One Absconding

Jhansi: Three jawans of the Indian Army allegedly raped two women inside a stationary railway coach at Jhansi railway station. These two women have lodged a case at the GRP police station in Jhansi against the three Army men. Two Army personnel were arrested while another is absconding.

As per the complaint made by the two victims, one Army personnel asked them for their mobile phone, claiming that he had lost his own.  Later this Army jawan took the women to a railway coach parked on platform 7 of Jhansi station. There were two other Army personnel inside. All of them raped the women and later asked them to leave, without returning the mobile phone to the victims.

The victims registered a case against jawans named Sandeep, Ravindra and Suresh. Two of them were nabbed while the other managed to escape. GRP officials also informed the military police about the incident.
