Bangladeshi Miscreants Attack & Injure 2 BSF Jawans at Border

Kolkata: A group of Bangladeshi miscreants attacked and seriously injured two Border Security Force (BSF) jawans at the international border. The BSF personnel protecting India’s border faced the attack while trying to save the agricultural fields of Indian farmers.

According to sources, BSF authorities have raised the matter with Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) and have called for a flag meeting to discuss the incident.

In a statement, BSF informed that the incident took place in the area of Border Out Post Nirmalchar, 35 Battalion under the Berhampore Sector of Bengal Frontier.

The BSF personnel deployed in the area had received complaints from Indian farmers alleging that Bangladeshi farmers were entering their agricultural fields to graze their cattle and were deliberately destroying their standing crops. To ensure the safety of the Indian farmers, the BSF jawans had temporarily set up a post near the border.

It is alleged that the BSF jawans faced the attack of the Bangladeshi miscreants when they tried to stop the entry of Bangladesh villagers with their cattle into agricultural fields in Indian Territory.
