Berhampur College Student Arrested for Ragging A Girl

Berhampur: A student of Binayak Acharya College in Berhampur was arrested by personnel of Badabazar police station on Wednesday on charges of ragging a junior girl. Police tracked him down when a video of this ragging incident went viral on social media.  

In this viral video, the arrested accused Abhisekh Nahak (24) was seen to be attacking the girl of +2 classes with a plastic pipe, hurling abuses. Police have ascertained that this ragging incident had taken place on Tuesday. The youths in the video were wearing college uniforms.

Police have also detained another college student for interrogation in relation to the case.
