Bhubaneswar Kidnapping Attempt: Man dies After Jumping out from Moving Car; 2 Arrested

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar police have arrested two persons including a woman for their involvement in the death of a man who died after a kidnapping bid last night.

The accused, identified as Netramani Behera and Batakrushna Behera, are booked on charges of murder and kidnapping of Bichitra Palei.

Bichitra Palei put his life at stake while trying to escape from the clutches of his kidnappers. He jumped out of a moving car to save himself. But he succumbed to the injuries.

According to police sources, the initial investigation hints that this incident was related to private money lending. To deceased was kidnapped by the collection agents of some money lender as he had delayed loan repayment. The two kidnappers arrested by police are being interrogated to find out the reason behind the whole incident and the mastermind behind it.
