Russia’s “Massive” Missile & Drone Attack on Ukraine after Zelensky’s Europe Visit

A day after President Volodymyr Zelensky visited some European countries to request long-range weapons, Russia launched “massive” missile and drone attacks on Ukraine on Friday.

On Friday morning, “the enemy struck cities and critical infrastructure facilities,” the Ukrainian air force said. It also claimed that Russia launched seven Iranian-made “kamikaze” drones from the Sea of Azov and six Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea to attack Ukraine.

The Ukrainian air force said it had shot down five drones and five Kalibr missiles.

Russia also fired around 35 anti-aircraft-guided missiles targeting critical and infrastructure facilities in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. Although no one was reported to be injured in the attack, yet power supply was disrupted because of damage to power plants.
