Bihar YouTuber Booked Under NSA in TN for Spreading Fake News of Attacks on Migrant Workers

Chennai: Bihar YouTuber Manish Kashyap was booked under the National Security Act (NSA) on Thursday in Tamil Nadu. He was arrested for spreading fake videos on Bihar migrant workers being attacked in Tamil Nadu.

Madurai Crime Branch police registered a case against Kashyap and he was arrested from Bihar.

According to Madurai Superintendent of Police Shiva Prasad has confirmed that Manish Kashyap has been detained under the NSA.

Kashyap was produced before the Madurai district court on Wednesday. The court ordered that him to be remanded to judicial custody for 15 days. He is now lodged in the Madurai central prison.

Cases have been filed against Kashyap and others for spreading fake videos of migrant workers being attacked in Tamil Nadu.
