BJD Appoints 6 New Dist Presidents to Strengthen Organisation Before Polls

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik on Friday appointed new presidents for six districts. He also appointed working presidents of the BJD for three districts.

According to a BJD press release, senior leader Nrusingha Charan Sahu will be the BJD district president of BJD in Dhenkanal. Aswini Kumar Patra is made the Balasore district unit president.

The Koraput district unit of the BJD will be led by Jhina Hikaka. Prabhas Kumar Singh, Halu Mundari and Rabi Singh are the new presidents of Bargarh, Rourkela and Jharsuguda district BJD wings respectively.

Likewise, Debi Prasad Bhutia, Prasanta Gupta and Sushant Mohapatra (Japani) have been appointed as working presidents of the district units of the BJD in Dhenkanal, Koraput and Bargarh respectively.
