Borewell Mishap: 5-Yr-Old Boy Dies Falling in 200 ft Borewell in MP

Bhopal: Another child lost his life after falling into a deep bore well in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. The ill-fated 5-year-old boy lost his life after falling into a 200-feet-deep borewell in at a farm in Kopardi village of Madhya Pradesh’s Ahmednagar district. Although NDRF personnel were involved in his rescue operation, the life of the child could not be saved.

The deceased boy was identified as Sagar Budha Barela. His parents, who were sugarcane cutters by profession, had recently migrated from Burhanpur district.

Personnel of the 5th battalion of the NDRF were involved in the rescue operation. But the child stopped responding even before the excavation began. His body was brought to the surface at 3 am.
