Bridge Collapses in Gujarat; 15 Villages Affected

Gandhinagar: A bridge over Mindhola river in Gujarat’s Tapi district collapsed on Wednesday. No casualties were reported because of the incident. But communication to around 15 villages was affected by this bridge collapse

According to sources, this bridge was built at a cost of around two crore rupees. This bridge on Midhola river was on the road connecting Maipur and Degama villages in the Vayara subdivision of Tapi district.

According to district officials, the reason behind the collapse of the bridge would be ascertained through investigation by experts.

This bridge collapse incident in Gujarat follows the Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge collapse in Bihar’s Bhagalpur.
