CM Naveen To Commence Advance Bookings For Direct Flight From Bhubaneswar To Bangkok

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to launch the advance ticket booking service for direct flights to Singapore and Bangkok from Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.

Worth mentioning, IndiGo Airlines will operate direct flights from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok and Singapore will start from June 3, 2023.

The international terminal building at the airport is currently undergoing renovations. The infrastructure will be upgraded to manage the international air traffic.

Odisha is expected to greatly benefit from these direct international flights. A boost is expected in the tourism and business sector. Further, the Odisha government has agreed to bear the costs of unsold tickets, with the total ticket cost estimated to be around Rs 120 crore per year.
