Congress MLA’s Son Assault Case: Rs 19 Lakh Cash, Liquor Seized from Gym

Balangir:  Balangir police seized Rs 19 lakh cash and liquor from his gym hours after arresting MLA Santosh Singh Saluja’s son in an assault case.

The accused, identified as Seji Singh Saluja, created a ruckus in Alishan Cinema Hall in Kantabanji, a few days back.

According to sources, MLA’s son was among those who created a ruckus inside Alishan Cinema Hall at Kantabanji a few days ago. He reportedly got into an argument with the police during the ruckus. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.

For this, the police have booked the legislator’s son under Sections 384, 506 and 353 of the IPC and various sections of the Arms Act.

The accused underwent medical examination at Belpada Community Health Centre (CHC) today morning. He will be forwarded to a local court today.
