Drunk Youth Hacks Father & 3 Others in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: A drunk youth allegedly hacked his father and three others in the Choudwar area of Odisha’s Cuttack district.

The youth was identified as Suresh Mahanty. He went attacking people with a sharp weapon in an inebriated condition at Gualadiha village under the Kanheipur panchayat of the district.

Over four people including his father sustained critical injuries. All of them were rushed to the SCM Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Suresh fled from the spot after committing the crime.

On being informed, Police reached the spot, started an investigation into the matter and launched a search operation to trace and nab Suresh.
