WPL 2023: Mumbai Indians Defeat Gujarat Giants by 143 Runs

Mumbai: In the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) which commenced yesterday evening at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Giants by 143 runs.

Chasing a target of 208 runs set by Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants were all out for 64 runs in 15.1 overs.

For Mumbai Indians, Saika Ishaque took four wickets giving away 11 runs in 3.1 overs.

Today, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Delhi Capitals at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.  The match will begin at 3.30 p.m.

In another match, UP Warriorz will meet Gujarat Giants at DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai at 7.30 p.m.
