Earthquake of 6.3 Magnitude hits Java in Indonesia

Java: An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 on the Richter Scale hit Java in Indonesia.

According to the National Center for Seismology information, the earthquake was experienced at 03:25 PM on Friday.

Taking to its official Twitter handle, the National Centre for Seismology stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:6.3, Occurred on 14-04-2023, 15:25:45 IST, Lat: -6.35 & Long: 112.03, Depth: 600 Km, Location: java, Indonesia.”

As per the data, the epicenter of the quake was about 600 km below ground.
