FIFA World Cup: Japan to Take on Croatia for Spot in Quarter-Finals

Doha (Qatar): In the FIFA World Cup Football, Japan will take on Croatia in a knock-out match for a spot in the quarter-finals at the Al-Janoub Stadium in Qatar at 8:30 PM IST.

In another late-night round of 16 matches, on December 6, Brazil will take on South Korea at 12.30 a.m.

Earlier, England comfortably defeated Senegal 3-0 last night to set up a quarter-final clash with France on Saturday, December 3.

France stormed into the quarter-finals after defeating Poland 3-1. For France, Kylian Mbappe scored two goals while Olivier Giroud scored one goal. With this win, France became the first defending champions since Brazil in 2006 to clear the group stage at the FIFA World Cup.
