Four from Odisha Go Missing After Attending Wedding Feast in Chhattisgarh; Kin Suspect Kidnapping
Nabarangpur: Four persons of a family from Nabarangpur allegedly went missing after attending a wedding feast in Chhattisgarh.
Kin of the missing person has lodged a complaint at the Kanker police station alleging they were kidnapped.
According to sources, Sapan Sarkar of Dangariguda village in Nabarangpur district, his wife Rita Sarkar, her brother Biswajit Adhikari and a neighbour Hajari Dhali visited a wedding feast in Kanker of Chhattisgarh.
Reportedly, they left the feast venue at around 10:30 PM on December 10 but didn’t return home. Their phone numbers were also not reachable.
Police have started investigation into the matter.
CCTV footage of a fuel station in Kanker revealed that they had stopped there to refuel the car at around 10 PM on the day they went missing.
