Ganja Worth Rs 1 Crore Seized In Koraput

Koraput: Machkund police have seized a huge cache of ganja from a house at Khadaput village in Koraput district on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, the cops conducted a raid at a house and seized around 1259 kg of ganja which was stored for transportation to other states.

The estimated value of the seized contraband is around Rs 1 crore, officials informed.

It is worth mentioning that a joint team of Machkund police and Lamtaput police on Tuesday seized around 160 kg of ganja in the Nilgiri forest of Koraput district.
