Girl Beaten to Death by Relatives Over Family Dispute in Mayurbhanj

Mayurbhanj: A girl was allegedly beaten to death by her relatives in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district. The incident has come to the fore from the Beguniabandh area under Bangiriposi police limits in Mayurbhanj.

According to reports, the girl was allegedly beaten to death by her brother and sister-in-law. The relatives of the girl killed her due to a family duel relating to property matters. 

On being informed, the police arrested the accused duo and initiated a probe into the matter.

The cops also recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.
