Girl Elopes With Lover, Father Declares Her Dead & Invites People to Her Funeral

Jaipur: A man in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara declared his daughter dead, and got her condolence card printed to invite people to her funeral because she had eloped with her lover.

According to sources, this 19-year-old girl from the Hamirgarh police station area of Bhilwara eloped with her lover, with whom she had earlier got engaged. But their marriage was stalled due to a tussle between the two families.

The father of the girl had lodged a missing complaint at Hamirgarh police station. Police could trace the girl. In the presence of the police, the girl insisted to her father that she wanted to stay with the guy with whom she had eloped.

As per reports, the girl denied recognizing her father at the police station.

Irked by his daughter’s reaction and decision, the man declared to snap all ties with her. He also announced that the girl was now dead for him.

Later he not only got her funeral card printed but also made it viral across social media platforms inviting all to attend her funeral rituals.
