Grenade Blast by Terrorists Injures Civilian in Srinagar ahead of Republic Day

Srinagar: Despite massive security arrangements ahead of Republic Day, terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir blasted a grenade at the heart of Srinagar city on Sunday. A civilian was injured in this grenade exploded by terrorists.

According to sources, this blast occurred in the congested Eidgah locality in Srinagar. The person injured in this blast was identified as 32-year-old Ajaz Ahmed Deva. He received splinter injuries.

Following the blast, security forces launched a search operation to nab the terrorists involved in the explosion.

Meanwhile, the South Kashmir’s Shopian Police and Army arrested a terrorist belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen organisation. He is identified as Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri alias Qasim Bhai. He is allegedly involved in several cases of terrorist attacks.
