Group Clash in Ganjam; One Killed, 2 Injured

Berhampur: A person died and two others were severely injured during a clash between two groups at Samantiapalli under Patrapur block of Odisha’s Ganjam district today.

The deceased was identified as M Rama Rao of Ambagaon. The injured were identified as M Krishna Rao and M Lacheya.

The clash took place during the distribution of PDS rice at the Panchayat Office.

Police reached the spot and tried to pacify the situation. Past enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the attack.
