GST Council Decides to Slash GST on Millet Flour Food Items

New Delhi: Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council has decided to slash GST on millet flour food preparations from the current 18% GST to 5%.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chairs the 52nd meeting of the GST Council, in Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi on Saturday.

Along with the Union Finance Minister, Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Choudhary, Chief Ministers of Goa and Meghalaya, besides Finance Ministers of States & UTs (with legislature) and Senior officers from Union Government & States are also attending the meeting.
