Indian Army lacks weapons due to Make-in-India policy

New Delhi: A crisis has arisen due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policy to make the weapons and equipment used in the Indian defense sector in India. As a result, the Indian Army is becoming weaker in front of China and Pakistan in terms of weapons, according to a report published by Bloomberg.
Due to government policies, the Army, Air Force and Navy are having old weapons.
They lack modern new weapons to fight the war. It cannot be imported. If this continues, by 2026, there is a risk that the Indian Army will be short of helicopters. Similarly, by 2030s, there will be a shortage of more than a hundred fighter jets.
