Iranian Student Files Rape case Against Rakhi Sawant’s Husband  

Bengaluru: An Iranian student registered an FIR against Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Durrani at a police station in Mysuru on Monday alleging that the Bollywood actor raped her.

Apart from rape, this female student from Iran also accused Rakhi Sawant’s husband of cheating, threatening, and blackmailing her. According to the case registered by her at the VV Puram police station of Mysuru, during her stay in India for the past five years to study Doctor of Pharmacy, she had become close to Adil Durrani.

As per her allegation, Adil Durrani raped her by gaining her faith through the promise of marriage. Believing that they would get married, the Iranian student developed physical contact with him in one of the apartments in VV Puram, the FIR said. Recently, Adil Durrani refused to marry this Iranian student.

She also accused Adil Durrani was blackmailing her that he would share photos of their private moments on social media.

A few days back Adil Durrani was arrested when his wife Rakhi Sawant filed an FIR against him, alleging that he mishandled her funds and was also involved in marital violence. Rakhi Sawant had claimed that Adil Durrani had left her to stay with his girlfriend.

Last month, Rakhi Sawant revealed that she had married Adil Durrani in 2022. She shared a photograph of their marriage certificate which showed that the wedding took place on May 29, 2022.
