Kantabanji MLA Santosh Singh Saluja’s Son Held in Assault Case

Balangir: Son of Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja was arrested by district police in connection with an assault case at Kantabanji in Odisha’s Balangir district.

According to sources, MLA’s son was among those who created a ruckus inside Alishan Cinema Hall at Kantabanji a few days ago. He reportedly got into an argument with the police during the ruckus. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.

For this, the police have booked the legislator’s son under Sections 384, 506 and 353 of the IPC and various sections of the Arms Act.

Notably, earlier a purported video of the Congress MLA’s face-off with Balangir Collector Chanchal Rana had gone viral on social media.
