Khalistanis Vandalize Another Hindu Temple in Australia’s Sydney

Another Hindu temple was attacked in Australia by Khalistan supporters. The Swami Narayan Temple in Sydney, Australia was vandalized by Khalistani supporters. They also put up a Khalistani flag on the wall of the temple.

The outer wall of the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in the Rosehill suburb of western Sydney was spray-painted with the message “Declare Modi Terrorist” early on Friday morning, reported The Australia Today.

This attack on Hindu temple in Australia happened just weeks before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Australia on May 23. It was the sixth Hindu temple attacked in Australia.

In March, the boundary wall of the Shree Laxmi Narayan Temple in Brisbane was vandalised. In January, three Hindu temples in Melbourne were defaced with anti-India graffiti and pro-Bhindranwale slogans by Khalistani supporters. The temple priests also received threatening calls. Khalistani flags were found attached to the Indian consulate in Brisbane in February, a few days after External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s visit to Australia.
