Looters target Balasore SP’s Parents in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Some miscreants allegedly tried to loot valuables from the parents of Balasore SP Sagarika Nath near AMRI Hospital under Bharatpur police limits in Bhubaneswar on Sunday night.

According to reports, the parents of this IPS officer were returning home in a car, when two bike-borne miscreants intercepted their vehicle at around 8.30 pm. They tried to threat and loot money and gold ornaments from the couple.

Facing resistance from Nath’s father, the looters preferred to escape from the spot leaving behind their bike.

Nath’s parents lodged a complaint regarding this incident at the Bharatpur police station.

Police are examining the footage of nearby CCTV cameras to identify the accused.

The bike left behind by the miscreants has been seized at the spot by the miscreants.
