Lord Hanuman Gets Notice to Vacate Encroached Railway Land

Bhopal: A notice was issued to “Sri Bajrangbali (Lord Hanuman) by the Railways department to vacate the land encroached upon by him in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena district. This notice was issued on February 8 in relation to a Lord Hanuman temple in Morena’s Sabalgarh. The temple is erected on land claimed by railways as theirs.

The notice issued in the name of the deity warns of the demolition of the temple if it was not removed within seven days.

Interestingly, the notice from railways categorically states that Lord Hanuman will bear all costs of razing the temple if authorities are compelled to execute demolition.

When newsmen contacted railway authorities regarding this demolition notice issued in the name of Lord Hanuman, the PR officer of North Central Railway, clarified that the notice was issued in Lord Hanuman’s name by mistake. According to him, a new notice has been issued against the priest of the temple.
