Major Hike in LPG Cylinder Prices; Know How It’ll Affect Your Purse

New Delhi: Prices of both domestic and commercial LPG cylinders have been hiked. The rate of domestic LPG cylinders has been increased by Rs 50 per unit with immediate effect from Wednesday. Similarly, the price of commercial LPG cylinders has been hiked by Rs 350.50 per unit.

With this increase in prices, domestic LPG cylinders will be Rs 1,103 per unit and commercial LPG cylinders will now cost Rs 2,119.50 per unit in Delhi.

This is the second hike in commercial LPG cylinder prices in 2023. On January 1 this year, price of commercial LPG cylinder prices were increased by Rs 25 per unit. The prices will vary in different places in the country as per the difference in transportation costs.

On Wednesday, petroleum and oil marketing companies decided to raise the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 350.50 per unit and domestic LPG cylinders by Rs 50 per unit with immediate effect.
