Man Beats His Wife to Death with a Spade in Boudh

Boudh: A woman was brutally murdered by her husband in Boudh district. Her husband thrashed her lethally with a spade.

Although the real reason behind this murder is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that a marital tussle led to this killing.

The deceased woman has been identified as Kanak Pradhan (35) of Chandrapur village in Boudh district. Her husband, Purna Chandra Pradhan (42) allegedly beat him up with a spade following a quarrel on Friday night.

The accused escaped after committing the crime. Police are trying to track him down.

Ratnakar Pradhan, the father of the accused reported the murder to the local police.
