Man Ties Pregnant Wife to Bed and Burns Her to Death in Punjab

Chandigarh: A man allegedly killed his pregnant wife in a gruesome manner by tying her to a bed and then burning her alive in Punjab’s Amritsar district. This shocking incident happened on Friday in Buled Nangal village in the Rayya area.

According to police sources, marital tussle led to this crime. On Friday, the couple had a heated argument following which the accused, named Sukhdev tied his six-month pregnant wife Pinky to a bed and set her on fire.

The deceased was pregnant with twins. She died on the spot. Sukhdev absconded after killing his wife. A search is on to nab the accused.
