Man Stabs Woman To Death In One-Sided Love Affair In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly stabbed a woman to death in Bhubaneswar allegedly over a one-sided love on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Baijanti Sahu of the Naugaon area in Jagatsinghpur district.

According to reports, Ramesh had feeling for Baijanti. Following this he was infatuated with Baijanti but the latter ignored his responses. Enraged over such neglect, Ramesh stabbed Baijani with a sharp knife on Tuesday injuring her critically.

Baijanti was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Bhubaneswar with a stomach injury but later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital as her condition deteriorated.

However, Baijanti succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at SCBMCH.

Following this, Her family has filed a complaint in connection with the incident at Mancheswar police station. Meanwhile, the police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.

As per the preliminary investigation, Ramesh stabbed Baijanti over one-sided love.
