Minor Girl Kills Younger Brother in Haryana Thinking Parents Loved Him More

Chandigarh: A 15-year-old girl killed her 12-year-old brother in Haryana’s Ballabhgarh alleging that her parents loved her brother more than her.

On Tuesday evening, the parents of the girl found their son dead at home. The youngster was strangled to death. Their elder daughter was the only one present at home at that time.

The minor girl and her brother were residing with their grandparents in Uttar Pradesh and had recently come to Ballabhgarh to spend their summer vacation with their parents.

Police investigation revealed that the girl believed her parents loved her brother more than her. It was because the parents had given a mobile phone to their son. On Tuesday, when her brother did not give her the phone, in a fit of anger, she strangled him to death.

The police will present the girl before the juvenile justice board for further proceedings.
