Minor Girl Student Killed In Road Mishap In Balasore, Irate Locals Stage Protest

Balasore: A minor girl student was killed in a road mishap in Nahara Village under Karmadha police limits of Balasore district.

According to reports, the incident occurred while the minor girl was heading back to her home on her bicycle when a speeding dumper hit her from the rear. Subsequently, she died on the spot.

Irked over the matter, locals stage road blockades and burnt tires demanding compensation.

On being informed, police reached the spot and pacified the agitators. Further investigation is underway in this regard.
