Mob Lynches a Man to Death Alleging Him to be Transporting Beef in Maharashtra

Nashik: A mob made a lethal attack on two persons in Maharashtra’s Nashik when they were found to be allegedly transporting beef in their car. One of them died during treatment at a hospital.

The duo faced the mob lynching on June 24, while they were on their way to Mumbai. Their car was stopped by some persons, who allegedly discovered beef in it.

The mob attacked the duo in the car with iron rods and sticks, causing serious injuries. One of the two victims died due to his injuries. A murder case has been registered in the matter.

In a similar incident in March, a 56-year-old man was allegedly lynched in Bihar’s Saran district on the suspicion that he was carrying beef.
